2019 UFO Challenge January Progress

I’m a late getting this post up but better late than never I guess. It was a busy January. Regardless, I was able to make some progress on my UFO.

January’s number to work on was 7. Celtic Hearts was my 7th project listed. Though I have stated this before I feel I must say this again. I’m not crazy about hand quilting. FNwF’s Results

It’s been a really long time since I participated in FNwF’s. I’m happy to be back at it. Last night I decided to work on my UFO Challenge project for January, Celtic Hearts. It needs the hand quilting finished. After spending 10 mins on it, it became clear why I didn’t finish to start with. I really don’t enjoy hand quilting. Hmmm) Oh well, I am making progress and I have confidence that I will have a finish for February.

Goal Setting for July…..A Year of Lovely Finishes

I’ve never participated in A Year of Lovely Finishes but have wanted to. Since there are only 6 months left of this year I’m going to jump and do my best.

My goal for July is to add borders to a wall hanging I started many years ago. I had took a class at one of my local quilt shops for the pattern Celtic Hearts designed by H.D. Designs. I finished the applique but never got around to adding the borders and backing.
