I’ve never participated in A Year of Lovely Finishes but have wanted to. Since there are only 6 months left of this year I’m going to jump and do my best.
My goal for July is to add borders to a wall hanging I started many years ago. I had took a class at one of my local quilt shops for the pattern Celtic Hearts designed by H.D. Designs. I finished the applique but never got around to adding the borders and backing.
I’m even going to give machine quilting a try for this. I’ve done it before but never for anything this size.

Your quilt is beautiful, I’ve just found a celtic design I’d like to try out soon – nothing as complicated as yours though. Do you have any tips?
