Finally got some time to get this post out. Better late than never. I had a little time last week to work on my Bittersweet block. It’s January’s block from the book Prairie Flower by Barbara Brackman.
I really have been overwhelmed with completing DIY projects here in and outside the house this summer. Even with that I need to take some time to complete my UFO’s as well. I have a few really old ones. As I blogged about in my last post for my last FNSI results I’ve been working on my Prairie Flower blocks. I’ve almost got my applique pieces ready to glue baste on to my next block.
I’ve never participated in A Year of Lovely Finishes but have wanted to. Since there are only 6 months left of this year I’m going to jump and do my best.
My goal for July is to add borders to a wall hanging I started many years ago. I had took a class at one of my local quilt shops for the pattern Celtic Hearts designed by H.D. Designs. I finished the applique but never got around to adding the borders and backing.
