I’m a late getting this post up but better late than never I guess. It was a busy January. Regardless, I was able to make some progress on my UFO.
January’s number to work on was 7. Celtic Hearts was my 7th project listed. Though I have stated this before I feel I must say this again. I’m not crazy about hand quilting. When I had first made the decision to hand quilt I was excited to give it a try. Didn’t take long for me to realize hand quilting is not for me. My guess this is why this project became a UFO.
I did push forward last month and got a good amount done. It may take me another month or so, but I am determine to put this project behind me.
I still love this project. It’s why I added this to my UFO Challenge list.
I’ve finished all the hand quilting within the heart.
The areas with the arrows is where I need to make a decision for the design to hand quilt. Any ideas, lol.

There is that celtic triangle kind of shape. I’ll see if I can find one or two out there and email them to you, they are pretty easy. OR an upside down abbreviated version of that bottom piece of bias – the three loops and two curves that meet in a point.

That would be great. I was thinking about something Celtic.

What a gorgeous quilt! What about a nice swirling feather in those areas?

Thank you! Feathers might be a good option.
