I was and still am excited about this hop. I loooove hexies! I can’t wait to see everyone’s projects. Unfortunately for me I didn’t get finished. So today I’m not the Hexie Queen. lol On top of remodeling our house, I took on a summer job. Our homeschool just started last week too. (*deep breath*) 🙂
As usual, I got a late start but did get some sewing done. I choose to work on my cross stitch project, Winter Queen by Mirabilia. It’s been a while since I’ve worked on this stitchery. Last night I thought I’d pull it out and work some more.

I’ve been excited about this hop. I just love Christmas, it’s my favorite holiday.
When I was a young’n I worked at a Christmas store. There I learned how to decorate trees from an Interior Decorator. I had always loved Christmas but that experience started a fire for me.
I’ve never participated in A Year of Lovely Finishes but have wanted to. Since there are only 6 months left of this year I’m going to jump and do my best.
My goal for July is to add borders to a wall hanging I started many years ago. I had took a class at one of my local quilt shops for the pattern Celtic Hearts designed by H.D. Designs. I finished the applique but never got around to adding the borders and backing.
