Last Friday night I spent some time continuing work on Winter Queen. Although I haven’t blogged in a while, I have stitched, mostly on Winter Queen. I’ve made some progress and can now begin to see the end in sight.

FNSI Results…
FNSI was to be a weekend of sewing. I instead spent it sick. Not sure what the temps were but it didn’t feel cold having the windows open. It was sunny with a very light breeze. Just beautiful!
FNwF’s Results and Slow Stitching Sunday
I got started a little late Friday but was still able to get a little stitching done. Sorry about the dark photos. I was having trouble getting the light just right. The circled area is what I got done for FNwF’s.
Nuts About ? Blog Hop
There are lots of things I’m nuts about. Hello Kitty, gardening, star blocks, just to name a few. When deciding on a project for this hop, I went back and forth, then back again. I almost couldn’t do it. I was trying to make a quilt project but I couldn’t do it. The problem was…. when it comes to sewing projects, I’m a doll maker. I absolutely love-making dolls, prim ones to be exact. Now, I don’t do the scary ones. Trust me, there some scary primitive dolls. You may know what I’m talking about. I can’t make those. I like pretty, cute dolls.
FNSI Results
Last month I enrolled to take part in a 6-month BOM at my local quilt shop. It’s a really cute quilt called Honeybee Lane designed by The Quilt Company. I just love this pattern! It is the cutest!! It’s like it was made for me!
We have to opportunity to work on our block at the shop or take it home. I worked on mine last Sunday at home after picking it up the day before. I’m not much of a piece’r but I found this block to be easy. Even with that, I still didn’t get it finished, so I decided would work on it some more for FNSI.
So here is the block after last Sunday night…..
