FNSI was to be a weekend of sewing. I instead spent it sick. My husband even had to cook Easter dinner. I think it turned out great. I couldn’t taste it sadly due to the rotten cold I had. It didn’t help that I was also suffering from the nausea that comes with having a migraine.  Aside from all that it was a beautiful Easter Sunday, weather wise.  Not sure what the temps were but it didn’t feel cold having the windows open. It was sunny with a very light breeze. Just beautiful!

I want to show you what I had planned. Earlier in the week, I had done up a couple of blocks from Lori’s BLOOM sew along that’s happening over at her blog Bee In My Bonnet. Over the weekend I wanted to get the pieces appliqued down.  Of course, that didn’t happen. I’m hoping I can find the time this week. It seems there is always something to do as of late. The pieces are being held in place with bit of fabric glue till then.

I’m making these blocks with Sweetwater’s fabric line Feed Company.

Block 2

I messed up one of the bias strips and I might redo it. Not sure if I care that much. lol Sometimes these things bother me and sometimes not. I haven’t decided.
