Last Friday night I spent some time continuing work on Winter Queen. Although I haven’t blogged in a while, I have stitched, mostly on Winter Queen. I’ve made some progress and can now begin to see the end in sight.
The blue in the pics always looks different each time I photograph. It’s just as hard to get right as all white. Sorry about that.
It’s not the best photo but the areas pointed to by the arrows are what I worked on Friday night. I needed to add the Whisper thread. I was able to get that done.
I continued working Saturday and was able to start filing in the areas with white (DMC Blanc).
….and here is where I’m at now in progress
I just need to spend some time today with filing in the rest of the blanc. Then I have the Whisper thread and some grey to finish. Then I will be able to start her upper body and head. I’m starting to feel that I can get her done my the end of the month. Whoohoo!
Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful Mothers!!

Such a lot of stitching. I look forward to seeing the end result.

I think that’s a lot of progress! I’m learning, from watching someone else’s posts, that XS takes a lot of work and time. =) Congratulations on being so near your finished goal.
