Thanks so much for stopping by. Today’s my day for the April Showers Blog Hop Challenge hosted by Joan of MooseStash Quilting. The challenge was to make something having to do with showers for example, baby showers, wedding showers, or the like. Since no one I know is having any showers, I went with rain showers.
Since I wasn’t in the mood to design I looked online for a suitable pattern. I found one by Running Doe Quilts with the appropriate title ‘April Showers’ for $2. It was a download pattern and that made it even more appealing.
I’ve seen the quilt made and shared on Instagram and wanted to make it for this hop.
I used Kona solids and a lovely paisley grey fabric from Hobby Lobby.
No matter how I take the photo the white cloud looks beige. Oh well.
Morning sun sure makes the colors look different.
