Today is the first day of the All About Strings Blog Hop. Thanks so much to Carla of Creatin’ in the Sticks for hosting.
I have never made a strings quilt before. So after researching on how they are made I went to my EQ8 and began to play around with a few design ideas.
I really like how this turned out. I wasn’t able to get the borders on before my day. Still I think it’s looking good.
I have to be honest, I thought my day for posting was tomorrow. Why, I have no idea. I just had Tuesday in my head. lol I just realized last night that today (Monday) was my day. In the last year I’ve had more brain fog than I care to admit. So is life I guess.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Visit the other wonderful bloggers today for more string quilt inspiration. Be sure to also stop by Creatin’ in the sticks to enter in her giveaway from the Fat Quarter Shop.
Love your string quilt.

This is a really different take on it – Hooray for you! I figured it out – Mercury has been retrograde. April will be much better. I did that with one of the last hops and it is infuriating!!!

What do you mean, good? This is GREAT! I love the 3D look of this quilt and as you’ll see when it’s my turn, I have a soft spot for black backgrounds. Do you enjoy using your EQ program a lot?
