It’s been a hot summer and living in a house with no air conditioning is not always good for sewing. Thank goodness I have a cool basement. With that, you’d think that I’d be sewing my little heart out, but no. It’s been a busy summer so simple projects are perfect.
For this hop I decided, since I’m moving my sewing room to a bigger space, to make a fabric container. More room for more organizers. I used a McCalls pattern….
The box I made is E. I didn’t follow the directions exactly. As you can see in the picture it is a two color box. I made a solid black box.
I cut a block out of a panel from Moda’s Bee Creative by Deb Stain to add to the front. This is such a cute line of fabric and I’m using it for several projects this summer. It’s a Bee kinda of summer.
I fused the block on the box then I embellished with ribbon and things.
Such a cute box. I took the picture not long after gluing the bee charm on. So you can see the glue there, sorry. 🙂
This box can be made in one day, so it’s a quick project. It was fun too so I’ll be making more.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
