This was my first year participating in the Santa Sack Swap. I didn’t really know what to expect.
Making gifts 5 gifts over a 6 month time. Well, it turned out to be better and more fun than I thought. I really loved it and will definitely be participating next year.
My swap partner was Danette from Quilting Chemist. What lovely woman she is and she’s really a Chemist. Neat! She also sews beautifully. I am over the moon with what she made me. I received the most wonderful gifts. Be sure to visit her and see what I sent her.
The bag she made was so lovely and the crocheted dish towels are just too pretty to use.
She didn’t know I collect buttons and I’m always buying cute post-its and note pads.
Yes, those chocolates were so yummy!
Take a look at this pretty wool candle mat.
Beautiful! Totally fits in with my Christmas decor.
My biggest surprise….
the wall hanging.
It’s a 39 1/2 even square wall hanging. I have to say I was not expecting this. You should have been here when I opened the package and saw this. I couldn’t stop giggling.
I love it and can’t wait to get it hung after Christmas. I’m in the process of redecorating and the colors are perfect. It’s going to look beautiful in my home.
The gray was a little hard to photograph. So it looks like there’s blue in it but it’s grey.
Thank you so much Danette for everything and for the work you put into your gifts. I appreciate you so much!
Thank also to Cheryl for hosting such a wonderful annual swap.
