Black Cat Crossing Blog Hop

I’m so excited to share my project with you. This year is my 3rd time participating in this hop. Before my 1st time, I had never been in a hop before and hadn’t blogged about much at all. I was so nervous cause I didn’t know what to expect. Would any body like me or my writing (cause I’m not very wordy) or would they not like my project? Well, it went great and every body was so sweet with their comments. Two years later your sweet comments still put a smile on my heart.
This years project I designed using 2 blocks from my EQ7. My idea was a cat caught in spiders web. I called it Webbed Kitty. He’s a little worried even though it looks like he’s smiling.

The second block was rotated to give it the interlocking look that I was hoping would be web like.
The spider was hand drawn my me and it looks similar to the spider I drew for my 1st Wicked Hop.
See the birds in his eyes, I think that is what got him in trouble. lol
I absolutely loved this fabric line Black Cat Crossing by Maywood Studios. It’s muted colors are just so pretty. When I think about that name Black Cat Crossing I can’t help but think about a quote by Groucho Marx.
“A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere”
 No bad luck here!
Thanks to Mdm Samm of Sew We Quilt and Wendy of Why Knot Kwilt for their work putting this hop together.
Have a fun day hopping and a safe Halloween.
