Wicked…..Day 2

wicked2013file_zpsb38d1aae

Thanks for stopping by. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures to show you of my project. My camera broke and I can’t get the pictures out. I’ve taken some with my cell phone and I’ve been trying to upload them. I’ve had no success. It just sits and loads…..and loads. I’ve even tried to upload them to facebook in order to save them to my computer. It’s just not working. I’m looking at my cell phone right now and I have nothing but a white loading screen. I’m just so upset.

Until I can get a new camera or get my cell phone to upload I’m not going to be able to do anything.

*Deep Breath*

I’m sorry.

Please visit the others. Wicked is my favorite hop. The projects are always so fabulous!!

  1. What I do, is connect your phone to your computer
Go to My Computer, it should show external device or an other device
You should be able to click on what ever it calls your phone
Once it has done that, leave there, and/or
    Go to My Pictures
When it opens, it will give you icons for all the different pictures file locations, including your Other (cell phone)
I found, if I do not do the first set of steps, this last part does not work
    Ok,
So at the bottom of the lists of picture file locations should be your cell phone
Click on there, your pics should be there
I like to save to my computer, then save to a specific file name, like blog pics or blog hop pics
You should be able to upload to your blog from this file set
Or you can save to picas a or Flickr or even Pinterest!
Or can you forward them by email to the hostess Wendy from your phone and she can post to Pinterest
    Best of luck!
    Take care, Leslie

  2. Not to worry! I was afraid that I was going to be in the same boat today. My computer, or blogger, or who knows what, was acting up tremendously. I was finally able to upload my photos after clearning the cache, restarting about 10 times, and in general, saying a few bad words! LOL! I know your project was great. Post when you are able to access your photos. I would love to see what you’ve done!

  3. Sorry about your issues. Have you tried to send the picture from your phone to your email and then maybe you could upload it in your computer. I’ve done that a couple of times and it seems to work pretty well. Good Luck and thanks for showing up.

  4. Oh, I’m so sorry we are going to miss your project. I went outside to take a picture of mine for tomorrow, dropped my camera, and broke it. Fortunately, my DH has his own camera, so I could still get pictures. Hope you get a chance to post later so we can see what you have made!

  5. Doyou have blue tooth on your phone & computer? It’s really easy to transfer them then. If you have a smart phone, you can get blue tooth. Hope this helps!

  6. WOW…what a wicked day for you. I hate when the modern technology we rely on plays wicked tricks with us. I experienced your frustration when I hosted the Holiday Lane Blog Hop with Mdm Samm last year…talk about stress. Enjoy the blog…Happy Haunting!! Pauline

  10. OH NO — This is my third try to comment. They keep disappearing. I believe evil spirits abount above this space.(Or in my case I am simply hitting the wrong keys!!) Sorry about the camera. It is so frustrating when technology fails us. I like Helen’s comment about burning incense and threatening to throw the camera out the window.

  11. How incredibly annoying for you! There most be a little ghost of ghoul in that camera and in the computer! Try burning sage in front of it….. or use my ultimate get-electronics-to-start-working-again-trick….. Open a window and tell the thing that ther is a choice…..live inside the house ORRRR…… (in all truth, it does not work every time, but more often then you would think!) Hope it all will start working again, like magic!

  12. Actually you copy the files to your computer by using the USB port which comes with your cell phone. You should be able to get it out from the charger and connect it to the computer to copy the files from your cell phone. This is faster and then you can upload easily. Good luck!

    1. I’ve tried that my computer won’t recognize the device. It stopped working long time ago, The charger I have now plugs into the wall.
